Quality of Your Order is Top of Mind

Cheese is a perishable food that requires consistent cool temperatures. For that reason, we offer a variety of shipping options and take great care in packaging and handling.

In-House Handling

Special care is taken in packing and shipping so that your order arrives to you safely. We use a heavy corrugated box with an insulated box liner and food-safe ice packs. Our goal is to keep your order cool during shipping and preserve freshness and quality.

Shipping Your Cheese Order

You will receive an email confirming your order once you’ve completed check out.

Orders are shipped within 48 hours of being placed, with the exception of orders received Friday through Sunday. Orders received on those days will be shipped on Monday. This policy minimizes the risk of sitting in an uncontrolled climate over the weekend, which would result in a loss of product. Additional processing time may be needed during high-volume seasons.

We ship our products with USPS and UPS, depending on the destination location. Please keep in mind that shipping speed refers to the time in transit from when the shipping company receives the package to when it is delivered. If you select UPS Ground as the shipping method, your package will arrive up to 5 business days after shipping. We do not ship internationally.

Please select the shipping speed that best suits the products you are ordering. If you are ordering soft cheeses, we recommend that you select expedited shipping to minimize the time spent in transit. We reserve the right to hold a shipment if the appropriate shipping time has not been purchased for the style of cheese you purchase. The shipment will be released once we contact you and resolve the concern.

Local Pick Up

If you are local to the Carlisle area, you may select “Local Pick-Up” at checkout. Orders for pick up must be placed 24 business hours prior to pick up. Current pick-up locations are: Central Wedge Cheese Shop, 25 W High Street, Carlisle, PA 17013.

For Gifting

You will be able to enter a shipping address separate from your billing address during checkout. You can enter a message in the “order notes” section to be included in the box for the recipient.
