About the event
Founded by Floyd Stokes to promote diversity education, the Amani Festival—meaning "peace" in Swahili—brings together people from all backgrounds through the joy of food, music, dance, art, and shared traditions.
Over the years, it has blossomed into a cherished event that attracts visitors from across Central Pennsylvania, showcasing ethnic crafts, delicious cuisine, and rich customs that promote respect and appreciation for all cultures and religions.
Central Wedge Cheese Shop will be a vendor at the 29th Annual Amani Festival, sampling and selling Pennsylvania-made cheese. After all, cheese starts with culture!
This year's festival promises a day filled with exciting activities, including:
