2nd Annual Carlisle Cheese Mixer

The Carlisle Cheese Mixer is our annual celebration of cheese during National Cheese Month!

We tailored the theme of this event - ‘harvest haunt’ - for our local cheese lovers and Halloween enthusiasts. This unique gathering promises an unforgettable afternoon of indulgence, featuring specially curated Halloween and Harvest-themed grazing tables, live music, and a selection of exquisite locally-made adult beverages.

Join us for an afternoon of sampling a wide selection of Pennsylvania artisan, farmstead and specialty cheeses made from cashews, goat, sheep, and cow milk. Each table will be bountifully loaded with cheese, charcuterie, crackers, breads, pickled and preserved fruits and vegetables, jams, jellies and other specialty foods. Take your time and make every bite count over the three hour event!

Totem Pole Winery will be sampling and selling wine while Desperate Times Brewing samples and sells beer, cider, and cocktails. 

Local musician Bradyn Cole returns again this year playing a selection of classical blues, rock, traditional irish and more on the acoustic guitar and violin. 

Tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets purchased in the shop at 25 W High Street will receive a physical ticket. Tickets purchased online will be redeemed with a digital ticket. Doors open at 12:30pm. Attire is casual.

$10 from the sale of each ticket will be donated to the Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland and Perry Counties. New this year, a silent auction will feature baskets of cheese items donated by Central Wedge Cheese Shop, cheesemakers and cheese companies, Desperate Times Brewing, Lameocal local artist, and an extra special basket donated by our neighbors at the Cumberland County Historical Society. Proceeds from the baskets will directly benefit the Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland and Perry Counties.
