About the event
Have you ever held a handmade tool in your hand—something that didn’t roll off a factory line, but came together from raw material with your own two hands? It’s a pretty magical feeling. And in this workshop, you get to make that magic happen… with steel, wood and epoxy, and a whole lot of sanding.
Join us for a one-of-a-kind, hands-on cheese knife making class led by the uniquely skilled Dwayne Burbridge. You’ll start with a high-carbon steel blade and a burl wood handle—both custom-prepped by Dwayne in his workshop—and walk through the process of sanding, polishing, assembling, and sharpening your very own cheese knife. Yes, you.

We promise it’s way easier than it sounds, and deeply satisfying in that “I-made-this-and-now-I’m-going-to-eat-gouda-with-it” kind of way.
